CONDITIONAL SENTENCE

Conditional Sentence (kalimat pengandaian) is a sentence about the things that could happen or when we wish for something would happen if the condition is fulfilled.

There are 3 types of it:

A. Conditional Sentence Type 1
     The type 1 conditional sentence is possible to be fulfilled.
      examples:

  1. if you eat a lot, you will get even fatter
  2. if you sleep too much, you will get headache once you wake up
  3. if you study hard, you will get a good result in exam
  4. if you use the plane, you will see the beautiful view from above
  5. if you use train, you will see many green fields
  6. if you are good, people will mostly like you
  7. if we work together, we will finish the task faster
  8. if i sleep earlier, i will wake up early
  9. if we book 1 room, we will save more money
  10. if he keeps all his promises, she will be happy



B. Conditional Sentence Type 2
     The type 2 conditional sentence is almost possible to be fulfilled.
      examples:

  1. if he worked hard, he would buy a Bugatti Chiron
  2. if i found your address, i would send you the thing you wished for
  3. if i did my homework, my teacher would not be angry
  4. if i spoke japanese, i would be working in Japan
  5. if i spoke many languages, i would be a spy
  6. if you worked harder, you would do so much better
  7. if he stopped stealing, he would not go to prison
  8. if she trained well, she would be the best
  9. if you cleaned first, you would sleep nicely
  10. if you washed your face, you would not be so sleepy



C. Conditional Sentence Type 3
     The type 3 conditional sentence is impossible to be fulfilled.
      examples:

  1. if i had met you earlier, you would not have married with him
  2. if he had not died yet, he would have engaged with his girlfriend
  3. if i had done the interview nicely, i might have got a position in that company
  4. if you had reminded me about the assignment, i would have got a good score
  5. if she had told him to come, they would have met before she left
  6. if the man had been careful, he would not have broken the plate
  7. if you had told me the truth, i would have forgiven you
  8. if John had hugged me, i would have felt better
  9. if they had informed me they were in town, i would have met them
  10. if i had have a magic skill, i would have awaken him from the death
